The developers of Doncella Beach came to us with a brief to create a showstopping interior space in keeping with the showstopping quality of their complex.
We opted to go for an ultra-modern style, using contemporary bespoke-designed white furniture contrasting with textured coloured papers on the walls and complemented by unique decorative touches – such as the giant lampshade which hangs above the dining room table , which is made of chrome on the outside with plaster flowers on the inside.
The brief from the client for this property called for a complete renovation of their 30 year-old townhouse in Benahavis on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
The final result is a house that looks double the size and is blessed with plenty of life-affirming natural sunlight flooding.
El Campanario Golf and Country Clubhouse
Occidental Inmobiliaria is one of the highest-profile developers in Spain. They commissioned us right from the outset of the project to design and build their prestigious El Campanario Golf and Country Clubhousespecificallyso we could work in close partnership with their architects to design an oriental-influenced haven of serene tranquillity, which would inspire the Club’s clients not only to relax, but also to make the most of the available sports facilities.
The finished Clubhouse features a restaurant and bar with an outdoor dining and sun terrace, a fully equipped gymnasium, one of the largest heated swimming pools on the Costa del Sol, and tennis and padel courts…plus of course an 18-hole golf course.
One of the fundamental requirements for this project, according to the client’s brief, was to feature touches of glorious Mediterranean colours.
The client also wanted the flexibility to change these colours according to the season and their mood.
Just to prove how much ID Latinia’s reputation for providing excellent interior design services is growing, we’re featured on the August 2010 front cover of prestigious interior decor magazine ‘Casa y Jardin’ which is distrubuted throughout Spain and Portugal.
Inside the magazine, a 6 double-page spread of beautiful photographs and text details our work at our latest showflat in the ultra luxurious Doncella Beach development in Estepona, Malaga.

An apartment with a contemporary style, in which a distinguished black wall sharply contrasts with the lounge, together with a leather and glass table.
The colour palette is of whites, blacks and greys.
The owner of this property, after successfully decorating his villa in Spain, was so pleased with our service that he trusted us with the renovation and decoration of his new property in Scotland.
We knocked down the partitions to create a more open space. We used Andrew Martin, Lizzo, Abitare…materials to create homely and elegant atmospheres.
The result was an eclectic style, achieved via a mixture of classic and modern touches, such as the old altar located on top of the chimney, together with the hanging lamp from Bover.
The owners of this beautiful penthouse apartment briefed us to create an open, modern city loft apartment feel.
The penthouse is blessed with plenty of natural light which floods through the many windows which surround the property. We used wooden blinds and dark, solid furniture to create a warm and ‘clean’ atmosphere, functional yet warm and homely.
The owners of this apartment asked for an eclectic style, that would remain timeless, not determined by the latest seasonal trends. The result was an apartment decorated in neutral, warm and crude colours, together with contemporary furnishing.
A timeless interior.
